CHANGE THE WORLD
Totally toothsome tootie fruitie,
Singing, swinging, way out beauty
Draped with bells and chunky rings,
Purple and crimson and lime green things,
Your mother groans with a well bred air
At the sight of your long, straight, undressed hair.
Your father gasps then turns to glare
When he hears of the things your boy friends share.
You’re a breath of delight like a smile on the wind
Though you shed no tear on the day you sinned.
As long as your heart is alight with joy
And you’re fired with life not the will to destroy
You’ll break the barriers you storm
And build the world in a brand new form.
